Working Holiday Programs through International Experience Canada
If you're 18 to 35 (18 to 30 in some countries), come work and travel in Canada through International Experience Canada (IEC)! It's a government program designed to help you:
gain valuable international work experience
improve your language skills in English and French
work in Canada and fund the trip of a lifetime
International Experience Canada (IEC) gives international youth the opportunity to travel and work in Canada for up to 2 years.
There are 3 different kinds of work and travel experiences available:
Working Holiday
Young Professionals
International Co-op (Internship)
If you’re a citizen of one of the current partner countries, you may be able to apply to one or more of the 3 categories above depending on the agreement with each country.

You can apply for an IEC participation directly or you can use a recognized organization (RO) for support before and during your experience. RO's are Canadian-based organizations that help foreign nationals and Canadian youth work and travel internationally through IEC.
In limited circumstances, certain RO's can also help small numbers of youth from non-partner countries participate in IEC, such as youth from the United States.
Recognized organizations are different from authorized representatives, who can help you with your immigration or citizenship application.
